Creating Manifest Nirvana

For the greater part of his life and work as a teacher, Andrew Cohen has always transmitted and pointed towards a stage of human development that is fundamentally post-personal or transpersonal – a truly Kosmocentric perspective and orientation.

What this means in practice is that we aspire as individuals to participate deeply in the process of evolution itself – we nurture and develop a perspective in which we recognise ourselves to be vehicles for the vast and infinite process of cosmic evolutionary unfolding.

As we “grow up” into this consciousness, there is a spontaneous leap beyond a fundamentally self-oriented perspective, and towards self-transcendence in an evolutionary context. In Integral terminology, we become aligned with what is called the Turquoise structure stage of development.

At Manifest Nirvana, our aim is to help you make this leap. We help you to discover and embrace this new and emergent Turquoise consciousness – a perspective and orientation that fully embraces self-transcendence, and in which awareness of the evolutionary process is a natural and integral part of how we experience the world and ourselves.

We awaken to this new and dynamic expression of enlightened consciousness when we rise from our meditation, and realize that we are called by evolution itself to dynamically and ecstatically co-create the future – not merely for our own sake, but for the sake of the whole, for all of existence.

In this eternal moment of self-transcendence, we embrace a new Evolutionary Enlightenment – one that goes beyond and yet simultaneously includes our own evolution, expanding in all directions to include both the interior and exterior of the cosmos itself.

When our own awakening or enlightenment falls upon this stage of development, for the first time the vehicle of the self is ready for what it means to be authentic. We recognize that the vast intelligence of the cosmos is trying to speak through us – yearning to become more conscious, and find unique expression through the vehicle of the body-mind. As we learn to listen ever more deeply, we can hear its voice as our own Authentic Self speaking.

When the awakened condition and state of the Authentic Self begins to be expressed through this new center of gravity, all of the structure stages of consciousness begin to shine brightly and healthily. They cohere and become truly integral, enabling us to connect effortlessly to the multiple dimensions of ourselves and each other.

Finally we are free to be a vehicle for the creative impulse, to come together with others and follow the deep call of our liberated Authentic Self. We are naturally compelled to connect with other Authentic Selves, seeing our own liberation within the other, as nothing less than the call of the One Self to Itself.

This is Manifest Nirvana. When spiritually-awakened consciousness shines through a truly self-transcendent structure stage, we are compelled to reach way beyond the fears and desires of the small self, and build a culture based on a new set of shared values.

We see without any doubt that coming together beyond ego is the key to solving the challenges of our world.
