It is the part of us that is not bound by the limitations of material existence, not swayed by the vicissitudes of our ever-changing emotions, nor confined by the fleeting thoughts that dominate our everyday awareness. The spirit, in its essence, is the silent witness, the eternal observer that holds within it the vastness of all that is possible.\nWhen we say that the spirit is higher, we acknowledge that it occupies a realm above and beyond the relative concerns of our daily lives. It is a perspective that transcends the immediate and the temporary, inviting us into a deeper understanding of what it means to be truly alive. This higher dimension is not remote or inaccessible; it is, in fact, the very core of our being, the still point within where we can touch the infinite. It is higher not in a hierarchical sense but in a qualitative one, representing a greater degree of freedom, clarity, and love.\nTo live from the perspective of spirit is to align with a vision of life that is expansive, interconnected, and evolutionary. It means to see ourselves not as isolated entities struggling for survival but as integral parts of a cosmic process of becoming. This higher vantage point reveals that our individual lives have a profound purpose within the larger tapestry of existence. It calls us to rise above the ego’s incessant demands and to dedicate ourselves to the greater good, to the unfolding of consciousness itself. Each step on this journey brings us closer to the experiential recognition of the non-dual nature of existence. Thus, non-duality is both the timeless ground of being—where all is already one—and the unfolding process of awakening to this truth.
