However, the more days you attend, the more powerful your experience will be!What do I need to travel to India to attend the teachings?You can obtain an e-visa for travel to India here:\nhttps://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html ( https://indianvisaonline.gov.in/evisa/tvoa.html )\nPlease be aware that tourist visas are only valid for 30 days and they are non-extendable. It's also important to be aware that they normally start when you get the visa, not when you start your journey, which means you have to get it as close to your travel date as possible to have a full month.\nFlights are either to Bangalore or Chennai. From Bangalore it is a 5-6 hour car journey depending on traffic, which costs around $100. From Chennai the car journey is 3-4 hours and costs around $70.What is the Covid-19 situation?As pandemic cases are now very low, the Indian government has opened the country to tourist visas. The area of Tiruvannamalai has a very low incidence, and the venue is a rooftop which is open air, so we are very safe here.\n\nHowever, when exploring the local area please take sensible precautions – be conscious of social distancing, and wear masks indoors where necessary.Are there any travel restrictions?Please check the rules and restrictions in your country of origin to make sure you can travel, and before travelling be sure to check if there are any quarantine rules in place for your country on arrival in India.\nThere are currently very few countries for which this is required, but it's best to check – all this information will be available on the government website for your country of origin.Are meals included?No, but there are plenty of wonderful and inexpensive restaurants in and around Tiruvannamalai.Do you have any recommendations for places to stay?There are many hotels and guesthouses for different budgets in Tiruvannamalai.
